[Taipei, Taiwan, March 24, 2026] – ASRock Rack Inc., a leading innovative server company, today announced the ARMD12M3 motherboard and the OCP ORV3 2OU 2-node server 2OU2N-ARM. These platforms are built on the Arm AGI CPU, which is designed to address the compute density and energy efficiency required for the next generation of data center infrastructure.
The Arm AGI CPU, announced today, provides the compute foundation for a new generation of high-performance server platforms. Built on 136 Arm® Neoverse® V3 cores, the platform is designed to support massive data throughput and machine learning acceleration. The system architecture features 12 DDR5 DIMM channels delivering over 5.6GB/s of memory bandwidth per core. Data routing is handled by up to 96 lanes of PCIe Gen 6, alongside CXL 3.0 Type 3 support for advanced memory expansion.
Operating within a 350W thermal envelope, the Arm AGI CPU is designed to support high-density deployments, delivering as much as 2X performance-per-rack over comparable x86 configurations. This physical power efficiency is reinforced by logical security structures embedded directly into the silicon, including a natively integrated Root Security Engine and Pointer Authentication.
With the introduction of the Arm AGI CPU, ASRock Rack also unveiled the 2OU2N-ARM, a dual-node server platform compliant with Open Rack Version 3 (ORv3) standards. The platform integrates two independent Arm-based compute nodes within a single chassis, enabling scalable and power-efficient performance for modern data center environments.
Supporting PCIe 6.0 connectivity for high-bandwidth networking and storage, the 2OU2N-ARM platform is optimized for cloud-native deployments that demand strong performance-per-watt efficiency and modular serviceability.
In addition, the ARMD12M3 motherboard can be deployed in a standard 19-inch rackmount chassis, providing flexible integration options for enterprises and service providers seeking to deploy Arm-based infrastructure within traditional data center architectures.
"As datacenter workloads grow increasingly complex, the need for power-efficient, high-density infrastructure has never been greater," said Weishi Sa, President at ASRock Rack. "By integrating the Arm AGI CPU into our ARMD12M3 motherboard and OCP ORV3 servers, we are engineering platforms that deliver exceptional compute performance without compromising on thermal or energy efficiency."
"The industry is building toward a new era of the AI data center, shaped by increasingly intelligent and agentic workloads," said Eddie Ramirez, vice president of go-to-market, Cloud AI Business Unit, at Arm. "Built on Arm Neoverse CSS V3, the Arm AGI CPU is designed for that evolution, and we're proud to work with partners like ASRock Rack to deliver the efficient, scalable compute foundations that these systems require."
The announcement of the ARMD12M3 and 2OU2N-ARM underscores ASRock Rack's commitment to being at the forefront of the Arm ecosystem. As development of these next-generation platforms progresses, ASRock Rack continue to work closely to ensure seamless integration and optimized performance.
