ASRock Rack Delivers broad Selection of HPC, GPU and Storage Systems at SC19

Taipei, Taiwan – Nov 18, 2019 – Cloud-computing server manufacturer ASRock Rack in booth 971 today is exhibiting a broad selection of HPC, GPU and Storage server solutions at this year's The International Conference for High Performance Computing, Networking, Storage and Analysis (SC19) , the world's largest marketplace for high performance computing professionals, taking place from November 18th to 21st in Denver, Colorado.

ASRock Rack's new dual socket AMD EPYC 7002 GPU server platform, 4U8G-F/ROME, supports eight GPGPU cards in a 4U chassis for excellent GPU density. The 4U8G-F/ROME also features twelve 3.5 SATA drive bays for optimal storage capacity to maximize computing efficiency to handle larger, more complex and powerful AI and deep learning workloads.

With support for the latest AMD EPYC 7002/7001 processors and two NVIDIA® T4 GPUs within a highly compact 1U Rackmount chassis, the ASRock Rack 1U2G-EPYC/2T, a single-socket NVIDIA® NGC-Ready for Edge server platform, is designed with high efficiency 1+1 redundant power supply and extended connectivity with OCP LAN Mezzanine connector A and B, allowing customers to rapidly deploy and manage AI workloads quickly and securely from data center to the intelligent edge.

Featuring four hot-swappable 1U computing nodes in a 2U space-efficient form factor, the 2U4N-F each supports 2nd Gen. Intel® Xeon Scalable processors (2U4N-F/C621-M3) or the latest AMD EPYC 7002 processors (2U4N-F/ROME-M3). With up to four hot-swappable 2.5" HDD/SSD drive bays for exceptional storage capacity in each node, the 2U4N-F/C621-M3 also offers two x16 PCIe3.0 slots and the 2U4N-F/ROME-M3 offers one x16 and one x24 PCIe3.0 slots, 16 DIMM slots per node up to 4TB DDR4-2933MHz memory to meet customers' demands of today's HPC, datacenter web server and virtualization, and cloud computing environments.

Co-demonstrated with the key BIOS and BMC firmware partner, American Megatrends (AMI), for the latest MegaRAC FPX2.0 and AMI Composer Out-of-Band Server SAN / NVMeoF Manageability Solution, the ASRock Rack 1U10E-ROME/2T 1U 10-NVMe server system featuring the latest single-socket AMD EPYC 7002 processors with ten 2.5" NVMe hot-swap bays support, offers up to DDR4-2666MHz memory in eight DIMM slots, dual 10GBase-T networking ports, and 800W CRPS power supplies. The 1U10E-ROME/2T NVMe solution is designed to provide blazing data storage performance between CPU to data storage devices for advanced computing targeting at virtualization, cloud computing and high-end enterprise environments.

ASRock Rack also releases the two new single-socket AMD EPYC™ 7002 Series Processors-based ATX server motherboards: ROMED8-2T, featuring up to eight DIMM slots supporting eight-channel DDR-3200MHz memory, dual 10GbE Base-T LAN ports and seven PCIe 4.0 expansion slots. The ROMED8QM-2T features seven SlimLine PCIe slots, and two additional PCIe 4.0 slots for other high performance cards, targeted at high-speed cache server, hot data and rendering cache applications.

The ROMED8HM3 high-density, half-width server motherboard features balancing throughput between rear and front I/O expansion design for multi-node compute server and proprietary form factor appliance usage. With one OCP Mezzanine 3.0 for high-speed OCP LAN card, one low-profile PCIe 4.0 x24 and one PCIe 4.0 x16 slots in half-width form factor, the ROMED8HM3 supports flexible expansion capability of diverse storage and networking applications. Two M.2 ports accommodate 30110-size SSDs with support for scalable storage options and PCIe 4.0 bandwidth for faster boot speeds.
