ASRock Rack Unveils New NVIDIA® GPU-optimized Servers Validated for Deploying Accelerated AI at the Edge with NVIDIA® EGX Platform

Taipei, Taiwan – Oct 22, 2019 – Cloud-computing server manufacturer ASRock Rack today announced new servers that support the NVIDIA® EGX platform for deploying accelerated AI at the edge. With ASRock Rack's latest portfolio of 1U and 2U NGC-Ready for Edge validated servers, enterprises can deploy and manage AI workloads quickly and securely at the edge or in the data center.

Now supercharged with four highly efficient NVIDIA® T4 Tensor Core GPUs to bring acceleration to enterprises, the ASRock Rack 2U2G/C622 server platform is an NVIDIA® NGC-Ready for Edge server system, validated by NVIDIA® and optimized for AI inference, machine learning, deep learning and high performance computing workloads. The server supports the latest 2nd Gen. Intel® Xeon Scalable processors, eight hot-swappable 3.5" hard drives and four PCIe SSDs in only a 715mm-depth 2U rackmount chassis.

With support for the latest AMD EPYC 7002/7001 processors and two NVIDIA® T4 GPUs within a highly compact 1U Rackmount chassis, the ASRock Rack 1U2G-EPYC/2T single-socket server platform is designed with high efficiency 1+1 redundant power supply and extended connectivity with OCP LAN Mezzanine connector A and B, allowing customers to rapidly develop AI applications at the edge.

The ASRock Rack dual 2nd Gen. Intel® Xeon Scalable Processor-based 1U2FH-4L/C622 supports up to two NVIDIA® T4 GPUs and four 3.5" hot-swappable hard drive bays within a 1U rackmount chassis. Equipped with flexible and scalable mezzanine card slots, the 1U2FH-4L/C622 supports a variety of networking and storage card options, making it flexible and expandable.
